working... Well, it's summer, so "working"

It's been a while, blog!  I've missed you.  I think about blogging a lot throughout my day, probably because I read so many other people's blogs daily.  For a while now I've been wanting to write about my experiences as a young professional in housing.  I feel that my experiences in Grad school and even after have been somewhat typical, very relatable, and at times just plain funny.  I would love to write some kind of series of articles for a housing publication detailing all those things that young professionals go through in their careers... joys, successes, failures, personal/professional drama, ramdom musings... but I just haven't gotten to it.  I think I'd like to start here, in this safe corner of the universe to record my thoughts and feelings on subjects I find difficult to share in hopes that others will be able to relate.  Potentially they've been there or have advice, maybe they need a laugh about a common problem in the field, or an outlet to share frustrations.  Who the heck knows?!  I'm open for whatever, and I'm willing to take this in a new direction (Glee style!) to see what works.  What I don't want, however, is to spend so much time thinking about what it should or could be that I don't actually get any ink on the page (metaphorically speaking of course!) 

So here I am universe!  I'm a woman with an open heart, and I plan to share that with you.
